GLUTEN FREE summer camp

Hola ciberceliacos!

Según mi profe de historia para poder ir por el mundo se necesitan 3 cosas:
- Una nómina
- Carné de conducir
- Dominar el inglés
La nómina y el carné de conducir solo se pueden conseguir a partir de los 18 años. Pero el inglés se puede ir estudiando, hablando y practicando ya desde bien pequeñitos. Por eso hoy daré 4 nuevas actividades de verano PARA CELIACOS en INGLÉS.


Gluten Free Fun Camp
Location: Camp Courage in Maple Lake, MN.
Dates: August 5-8, 2009
Ages: 8-17
Camp fees are $225 per camper.

The Gluten Intolerance Group
Location 1: Camp Kanata, Wake Forest, NC
Dates: July 13-19, 2009
Age: 8 – 18Camp Kanata welcomes kids with celiac disease. Campers are provided with delicious food that is all gluten free. Please apply to the camp and to the Gluten Intolerance Group, and please note on your application to the camp that your child is on a gluten-free diet.

Location 2: Camp Sealth, Vashon Island, WA
Dates: August 7-12; Aug 13-16; or August 7-16, 2009
Ages: 7 – 18Camp Sealth, run by CampFire USA, lets kids choose from special programs in archery, crafts, cooking, canoe excursions, horseback riding, sail/windsurf, photography, fine arts, and more.


Celiac Sprue Association
Location: Camp Aldersgate, North Scituate, Rhode Island
Dates: August 10-15, 2009
Ages: 7-16.

Camp Celiac is one of the largest gluten-free camps in the United States, with children coming from across the United States and abroad. The camp is closed to all other groups during the gluten-free sessions, to allow for a gluten-free dining hall and atmosphere. Camp Celiac provides a full-time, registered nurse licensed in the state of Rhode Island to handle all medical needs including medications.
